NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Retired president of Starbucks International Howard Behar warns that leadership in America is in crisis, and a lack of personal values is the issue. Behar, whose book THE MAGIC CUP (Center Street) releases March 29, says the solution lies in electing a President who cares about people and will put the wellbeing of the country first.

"If business experience and personal wealth are the best criteria for being President, then there are plenty of more experienced and wealthier people in America who are much more qualified than Donald Trump,"says Behar.

"For Trump, everything is about Trump. He's the sixth grade bully who attracts bully worshipers. His method is to tear people down. But good leaders don't do that; they pull people up."

Behar believes that true leadership is about serving, not about being served.

"What we need is a leader who talks and acts like someone who actually cares aboutpeople," says Behar.

HOWARD BEHAR is a renowned business leader, author, speaker, and mentor. He served at Starbucks for a combined twenty-one years as both an officer and a board member. He was the president of North America and the founding president of Starbucks International.
