Readers embark on an insightful adventure that follows Ewers' thoughts based on her life experiences growing up on a family-owned Kansas farm with two younger sisters. Her reflections on various events that reaffirmed her Christian faith can also be found in each of the poems.
"My poetry speaks from the level of human emotion and experience in the daily life of a human being," the author points out. "I sincerely pray that their faith and walk with the Triune God will be strengthened and they will be encouraged to live each day for Christ."
"Seasons and Senses" will appeal to people of faith who experience God's presence in their lives on a daily basis, as well as those who want a deeper level of faith.
An excerpt from the poem "God's Tears":
God gives us grace through His Spirit, who lives inside our hearts.
Will we open up once more, and allow Him to come in?
I choose to live in grace today, and claim my victory!
