Poet Jerry Fitzgerald Releases Debut Book, 'Through the Bridges of Life'

Poet and creative writing instructor Jerry Fitzgerald releases his newest collection of poetry and hymns, "Through the Bridges of Life" (published by Trafford Publishing).
"The book is for real," explains Fitzgerald, "and the experiences of the past could happen again."
"Through the Bridges of Life" deals with everyday situations like visiting the dentist, meeting with friends and attending weddings in July, along with life-changing circumstances. Fitzgerald begins the book with a reference to the hit 1970s song, "Bridge Over Troubled Waters." He writes, "So if you are in the crossroad of life and see a bridge you have not seen before, stop and think, maybe this book can guide you through the rough ahead."
Fitzgerald's sincere hope is that readers will be able to compare their experiences with his own and take away a life lesson. Written with a humorous undertone, this book will engage imaginations with its constant parade of thought and emotion-triggering situations.

Jerry Fitzgerald is from a small town and has always aimed for big places. Somewhere along the line he decided to teach, but this was not in a normal classroom.
