Photo Flash: WHERE'S WALDO? Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Virgin Atlantic

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Where's Waldo?, Virgin Atlantic has placed the iconic global traveler on the side of a Boeing 747 aircraft. Waldo-Watchers can find the design proudly displayed on the jet "Barbarella" for a year as she flies between the UK, US and Caribbean. Check out photos of the plane's launch below!

The inaugural US-bound flight lifted off on March 7, 2013 at 11:20a.m. from London Gatwick and arrived in Las Vegas at 2:05p.m. Passengers on board received special Where's Waldo? treats including masks, books and postcards.

To join in on the fun, use the dedicated Where's Waldo? app on the Virgin Atlantic Facebook page, where you can search for this special plane sporting Waldo wearing his distinctive red-and-white striped shirt, glasses and bobble hat as it roams the transatlantic skies. Waldo is the first male to appear on one of the airline's livery, which famously carries the "Flying Lady" in homage to aviation's golden era.
