Jealous of Fatra's position, a resentful magician of the palace corrupts his relationship with Fag. Fatra is exiled and sent to King Tubal of Meridional after the king officially severs his ties from the boy he treated his own. However, Tubal's intentions are not so pure. So begins Fatra's descent into a dark, unforgiving world where innocence and tranquility are scant while war, slavery, infidelity, and betrayal are inevitable.
