Pete Swift is happy to be an ordinary fourteen-year-old boy. He likes things plain and he likes them simple. Above all, he likes to avoid conflict. But when he is drafted into matriculation at the dreamlike interdimensional Academy of Omniosophical Arts and Sciences, he learns life isn't always so simple and people aren't always who they seem. From the enthralling to the harrowing, Pete finds himself in locales and situations beyond his wildest imaginings with beings he thought existed only in myth.

Created to serve as preamble to the young protagonist's coming of age saga, this first installment introduces the parlance and captivating customs of the ancient world into which he is plunged. Pete's extraordinary school experiences prepare him to face the warring force that is wending its way toward the academy, threatening those he loves.

"JS Devivre has deftly constructed a wondrous and magical omniverse, populated by characters that will fast become friends - even the bad guys. Suitable for young teens and up - and I am waaay up - it is a classic tale told within an entirely new environment, with one particularly special guest character. I have already consumed this book thrice and with permission have passed it on to my 13-year-old. This book, and the series to follow, will be enjoyed by anyone who loves Harry Potter, Garth Nix's Old Kingdom and Keys to the Kingdom series, or David Eddings' Belgariad series. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. There is just one problem. I'm ready for the next book now!" ~Alison Manders, editor

Peter Swift from Dimension Q is a 118,000 whimsical Fantasy Adventure available now in digital and paperback formats. An interactive online release party will take place on Saturday, October 1 with prizes awarded throughout the affair. Additionally, an in-person costume tea party and book signing is scheduled in Southern California on Sunday, October 2.

Author JS Devivre spends her days serving as Headmistress of Siren School. Earlier in 2016 she published One Lump or Two, the first installment in the 1920s Tea Cozy Mysteries series. Time permitting, she pens The Tea Traveller's Constant Companion tearoom guidebook series as well as creates Cup of Mystery whodunit tea parlour games.
