In this memoir he shares his keys to success and the lessons garnered along the way.
An excerpt from "Access Granted":
"In the spirit of not being bashful, over the previous 23 years, I had made a point of letting every senior executive know that my personal goal was to become a Corporate Officer. This was not the first time that a similar promise had been made, nor would it be the last."
With raw honesty, Mefford reveals personal missteps and important lessons that transformed him from a stuttering, impoverished boy to a corporate officer of a global 140,000 employee company. "Any personal goal can be attained with enough persistence," he says. "Success brings with it the obligation to help others."
