Author Paul Thomas takes emergent readers to a wonderful adventure ride as he enters the world of literature with his first juvenile fiction tale "The Adventures of Little Red: The Mascot" (published by AuthorHouse). Written 15 years prior its publication, this story tells the timeless lessons of the power of prayers and having faith in God.

In a large barnyard lives a young rooster named Little Red. He was boss and he wanted, more than anything, to become a football star. However, at the training camp, he failed. He thought all was lost until he turned to prayer to remove his feelings of failure. Along with his supportive friends Anna, Floppy, Shepp and Coach Fields, everything is bound to change-for the better. Little did the young fighter know how a simple prayer could change his life forever.

"Thousands of young people and adults try to be chosen for a particular team every year. It is important for them to know that failure to make the team does not mean that they have failed at life," Thomas explains. He reminds readers that, "God is our all-powerful, all-loving father. No matter how dark the situation may seem, He is always there to lift us up, dust us off and send us off in the right direction."

"The Adventures of Little Red" weaves a tale of love, action, failure, success and even prayer sure to captivate readers in its pages.
