Paul Gotthardt Asks Readers EIGHT QUESTIONS to Live in Will of God

In his recently published book "Eight Questions: And the God Who's Asking" (published by WestBow Press), author and pastor Paul Gotthardt challenges readers to think differently about what it means to live in the will of God and what it means to truly follow God.
According to Gotthardt, everyone goes through periods where they feel as if God is distant, He doesn't make sense and He's not answering their prayers. "When that happens, people either get discouraged and walk away, become indifferent and do nothing or they learn to press into God," he says. "I want to encourage people to press into God."
"Eight Questions" acts as a guide to help people live confidently in Christ when life doesn't make sense. The book shows readers how to:
- make peace with unanswered questions;
- live in God's will even when you don't understand what he's doing;
- understand how God's teaching style requires radical faith - and brings unbelievable peace.
Gotthardt believes people want to know that the decisions they are making are good and right. "We pray and ask God to direct our decisions," he says. "When it seems like God is silent, we get discouraged. This book helps people recognize that God is not silent. We just have to tune our ears to hear His voice."

Paul Gotthardt is an experienced pastor, church planter and biblical counselor. He is the lead and founding pastor of Life Baptist Church in Las Vegas. Gotthardt holds a bachelor's degree in world religion from the University of Georgia, a master's degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological seminary and a doctorate in Christian counseling from Adonai University.
