Work is stressful for many people. Add jobmobbing to the mix and that pressure can be life threatening.

Patricia Komar, an expressive arts therapist, explores the concept and dangers of workplace bullying in her new book, "Jobmobbers: Under the Watchful Eye of the Coyote." It is a psychological thriller that takes readers through the increasingly harrowing experiences of a woman who begins to face constant harassment both in and out of the workplace, with seemingly no escape.

"Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a very serious condition, and one that can be caused by coworker harassment both at work and outside it, as well as the sense of isolation that results from it," Komar said. "The feeling that you can't even admit something is wrong only makes the problem worse."

As a therapist, Komar is aware of the terrible and rarely acknowledged consequences of unmitigated jobmobbing. This awareness served as the inspiration for writing "Jobmobbers". Her portrayal helps bring to light an under-discussed yet increasingly prevalent problem in society.
