MERRITT ISLAND, Fla.
A quote from John 14:6 says: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto to the Father, but by me." As a pastor, Dr. Leland McClanahan knows in his heart that the only way means of solving the sin disease is finding salvation through Christ. In light of this, he has worked to make an outline of the Bible to help believers gain a better understanding of salvation and God's word.
In "A Detailed Outline of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John" (published by Xlibris), he covers the first four books of what is commonly referred to as the New Testament. These are: The Gospel according to Matthew, The Gospel according to Mark, The Gospel according to Luke and The Gospel according to John. Dr. McClanahan takes a different point of view for each of the different stories in the gospels, which should allow the reader to notice specific and comparable attention to detail from each gospel. It is meant to guide and help the reader understand the order of events during this era so that the reader may identify the main points of each of the gospels.
Dr. McClanahan provides an in-depth presentation of the main points of each book and puts it in a format that is easy to follow along. In writing this book, he hopes that the reader will "gain revelation as they study."
