Author and teacher Chris J. Keelty has taught countless children throughout the years. During this time, he says he has supported numerous children who were abused at home.

In the new novel, "Primeval Scream" (published by AuthorHouse UK), Keelty gives a voice to abused children through the story of a boy raised by pure evil, struggling to escape his past.

Peter hasn't had the easiest life. His mother, considered by many to be a bit of a witch and the epitome of evil, raised Peter under her twisted morals. His upbringing rears its ugly head when he commits an act that could land him in jail and ruin his future.

"Peter could be any child and no doubt readers will know someone just like him and wonder are they doing anything to help," Keelty says.

"Primeval Scream" follows Peter and Mrs. Bilkes, the woman sent to defend him, as they engage in a legal battle that will decide Peter's future. Mrs. Bilkes has never lost a case, but will be truly tested as the legal system throws everything at Peter in hopes of locking him up. Can she successfully defend him and give Peter a real shot at a real future?
