"Storm Frost" (published by AuthorHouse) is author Sabin Moore's new novel about a young woman who risks everything to find her exiled lover.
Niartha, the fictional heroine, is banished from her people. She begins a journey that will have readers following her through trials of hardship, abuse and loss as she seeks her exiled lover - the one she was banished because of. She must use all of her skill to survive as she scourers the land looking for the man she has chosen. "In their desires and social lives, Anglo-Saxons, although separated from us by fourteen hundred years, are not so very alien, after all," says Moore.
An excerpt from "Storm Frost":
"It is about 592 AD and two princes of the powerful kingdom of the East Anglians travel west to forge an alliance with the tribe of a king of Middle Anglia. One is Eni (known as Wulf ) the other is Raedwald (who will one day become High King, ruling the east from Sutton Hoo). They meet and fall in love with the king's daughter, Niartha. This is the story of her disastrous love. It is based on Anglo- Saxon poems: the first love-triangle story in English literature."
"The tale displays Anglo-Saxon culture as vibrant, exciting, appreciative of beauty, terrifying in its cruelty and uninhibited in its morality," explains Moore.
