Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Forbidden Love by Dee Rose. The author's most recent book to date is a 5 x 8 paperback in the gay fiction category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/forbiddenlove was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

Mark and Jesse have been best friends for over a decade. However, Mark has had a secret infatuation with Jesse during that time. Having learned he is dying from a brain tumor, Mark finally gets the courage to tell Jesse how he feels. Mark is hesitant at first. He has a budding relationship with an old female acquaintance, and Jesse is a family man. Several obstacles emerge over the course of the novel, but none are enough to detour the eventual night of passion Mark and Jesse share in a remote cabin.

118 pages in length, Forbidden Love is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the gay fiction category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Forbidden Love meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.

Additionally, Forbidden Love can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore. ISBN: 9781478713494 Format: 5 x 8 paperback white SRP: $14.95

About the author:

Dee Rose was born on July 5th and resides in Aurora, CO. He is the father of two daughters. "They are my life," he says. He attended Metro State University of Denver, where he majored in Political Science. Forbidden Love is the first of several novels he hopes to publish in the romance genre. He has written novels in other genres, but thrillers and romance are his passion. Defying Gravity is his favorite song because no one believed he could pen a romance novel. "Hell, I'm still a little shocked that I did I," he said. The novel and its content are dedicated to his sister, who passed away from a long battle with cancer. "She gave me the motivation and strength to write and finish what I believe is my best work to date."
