To shed light on the lessons he learned after having an affair, author Gordon S. Froese has released "Overcoming Moral Failure." Froese's book addresses the concept of moral failure, and teaches readers how to overcome temptation and sin in an amoral society condoning temptations such as porn, strip clubs, alcohol and drugs.

"I longed for help, tools and knowledge to resist temptation," Froese remarked. "After being thoroughly broken then restored, I wrote down, in this book, the things that I learned in coming to the end of myself and being reconciled to my God."

Froese has firsthand experience with moral failure, as his life fell into disrepair due to his affair. After his infidelity was exposed and his life turned upside down, he had to learn what it meant to put God first.

Ultimately, Froese learned how to trust God in relationships and in life. "I thought I was keeping God first, but I needed to learn not to trust myself and to explicitly follow God's teaching," Froese said. "Like it says in 2 Samuel 22:31, God's way is perfect."

"Overcoming Moral Failure" will direct its readers away from a life of sin and temptation, and toward an abundant life with God as the focus.

About the author
Gordon S. Froese is a retired dentist, and family man. He led a double life for many years while hiding an extramarital affair. Upon exposure, he became broken in every area of his life; through the complete brokenness of his will and humility before God, however, the fractured pieces of his life were pulled back together.
