Nurain M. Zulkepli Releases 'Tinta Hati: Inked from the Heart' Image Taking inspiration from her daily experiences in dealing with people and observing their human nature, Nurain M. Zulkepli lyrically explores manifested feelings while reflecting on nature's beauty and interpreting life and the meaning of living in her first published work, "Tinta Hati: Inked from the Heart" (published by Partridge Singapore).

The book is a bilingual poetry piece, written in both Malay and English languages, that narrates the feelings that are manifested whilst immersing in the beauty of Mother Nature, while interpreting life and the meaning of living. Categorized into three chapters, this piece brings readers through universal issues of humanity, love and human character. Every poem is a reflective piece that brings readers to reflect on and interpret their own experiences with regards to the three main issues brought across by the author. The poems are accompanied by illustrations to creatively send out a message of love and mercy that transcends differences and disparities.

"This book sends out a message of peace in hope to restore humanity in a corrupted world filled with greed, selfishness, egotism and hatred," the author expresses. "A way to restore humanity is to first touch the human hearts to feel for one another with mercy and empathy."

An excerpt from the book:
Let hatred be paid with
Sympathy and sincerity
Let rudeness be paid with
Politeness and grace
Let also evil be reciprocated with
Goodness
Forget about lighting up the fire of animosity
That destroys ties of kinship
That destroys the bonds of friendship
And forget about judging ones faith on their physique
Do we really have to be proud of our own self-proclaimed piety?
For what if none of our deeds are even accepted by the Almighty
