Novel Highlights Power of Humility, Forgiveness

Cedrick Mayhem brings forth a novel that tackles the controversial topic of adultery. "A Princess Named Sasmacha" (published by Xlibris) is based on the author's real life experience on loving an unfaithful man. Writing the book became her outlet to release her anger, frustration and insecurities. The fictional narrative also provides adults with a lesson in forgiveness.

The story is about Sasmacha, a princess whose husband has 300 concubines which makes her angry and sad. She cries and her tears form a pool in which makes a beautiful cardinal drink and turns into a man who becomes her lover, only without penetration because her name means impenetrable.

"I think this story will appeal to readers?because most American families have been touched by the damage adultery brings to the whole family," the author relates. "I would want my readers to seriously consider the consequences of adultery. I want them to never, ever feel that it is too late to confess and ask forgiveness."

Ultimately, the tale is about a woman's loyal love. It also shows readers that even princesses can be lonely. Even princesses can be abused. Even princesses can rebel.

Cedrick Mayhem is the pen name of a chakra energy healer from Kansas. She is a believer of Christ return to teach people abbashua (a form of self-love), taught to her through the full moon energy from Gerlach, Nevada during the 2008 Burning Man festival.
