Preparation has begun to gather some of the state's best women writers and entrepreneurs for a panel discussion. Ladies of Literature and Their Stories will bring together authors from a myriad of backgrounds, writing a myriad of genres and struggling with a myriad of adversities.
One of these talented and strong ladies is spiritual speaker and Toastmaster
Susan Johnson. Susan currently works with special education students as an Instructional assistant for a school district in Las Vegas, NV. Las Vegas is where Susan calls home and where she lives with her husband and Siberian cat Angel-Ann.
Ms. Johnson graduated from Drake University with a BA in Sociology. She also has won awards in speaking with the Toastmasters and she was awarded with a Healthline.com best blogger award.
Susan's book, Some Dreams are Worth Keeping, has been very well received with numerous rave reviews. This enlightening memoir delves deep inside the world of bi-polarism. She will deliver a spirited and spiritual discussion on this disorder.
Susan Johnson will be one of nine unique and talented women authors coming together at the Paseo Verde Library, Henderson, NV. on July 28, 2018.
Other notable authors presenting will be Judy Shine Logan, Renee' Jean, Lori Piotrowski,
Nancy Nelson, Judy Salz, Cynthia De Boer along with event organizers Vicki-Ann Bush and Linda Stiles Fox.
The panel discussion will begin at 10:00 am. Those interested are advised to arrive early to get the best seats for this one-of-a-kind presentation.
