In her new novel "Bridges of No Return" (published by Trafford Publishing), author Nidel Koplin draws from her background of growing up on a Caribbean island and immigrating to the United States to craft an exciting adventure about three women struggling to find freedom from the oppressive government of their homeland.

Three women - Karina, Melina and Ana - living on a Caribbean island make the most difficult choice of their lives. About the Author
Nidel Koplin was born and raised on a Caribbean island. After high school, she traveled to the United States, earning a bachelor's degree in home economics with a specialization in chemistry from Spalding College for Girls. After college, Koplin returned to her home island to teach high school home economics and chemistry. After her marriage, she moved to California with her husband, raising her two children for the next 11 years before returning to teach high school chemistry and English in the Los Angeles City School District. Koplin attended the University of California, the University of Southern California, as well as Chapman and Pepperdine Colleges in pursuit of a master's degree in education and a bilingual credential. She taught for 20 years before retiring and working as a travel agent, assistant teacher and manager of the office of a non-profit organization for disabled people.
