In Nick Mulder's new novel "The War of Megiddo: Book I: The Alfa" (published by AuthorHouse), readers are taken into the future to see a final war between heaven and hell fought by the warring sons of God himself. Drawing on sources from traditional gospels to the Book of Enoch, Mulder crafts a compelling and diverse tale.
When the War of Armageddon begins, Jack Watts doesn't know he is the third son of God. But when his teacher, Auron, arrives to instruct him in the ways of leading the Army of Heaven, he begins to believe. The presence of Angela, his love interest, in that same army convinces him even more.
But all wars have two sides, and the Armies of Hell are led by God's other son, Sammael. As Jack passes through the Veil of the Senses that separates the world from the realm of imprisoned angels, the fight for heaven begins.
Mulder hopes his story will make readers realize the importance of religion and how it needs to be used as a tool for unification. "In the end it has been the differences in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam which caused created war," he says, "instead of allowing people to see just how incredibly similar the three main religions are."
