In "Beyond the Distant Clouds" (published by AuthorHouse), author Ngozi Omolaiye's new relationship novel - the first in the In Your Sokoto series - readers follow the lives of multiple individuals as they dance through the world of love.
"I see a lot of relationships going wrong around me," states Omolaiye, "and most times the solutions are near to people, or lies within them. This inspired me to write a series of five books with the same theme but different characters and stories."

I really don't know what to say; I can't run away from the fact that I have fallen in love with you. You bring me so much joy and create such a nice balance in my life. You would never understand.' 'What is there to understand? Does a brother kiss his sister? Does a brother caress his sister?' 'Of course not," he said, "but you are not my blood ...' 'How can you say that?' she asked. 'You wiped my nose when I was a little girl; you dropped me off at school, played with Tunde and I. Above all, you are married, and I have a fiancé. I don't get it. You are a pastor ...' 'Stop it, Tife. You don't need to remind me. I know all of this. But I love you more than words can say. I see nothing wrong in loving you, Tife.'"

Ngozi Omolaiye has over 10 years' experience in corporate communications. She edited company magazines and newsletters for a greater part of her career. Just before she went to university, and during the first couple of years there, she wrote short stories for a local newspaper in Nigeria.
