Mr. Donny Churchill marks his debut in the publishing scene with the release of a personal memoir chronicling the life of a "Taxi Driver-the Ill Fated Lad: From Heaven to Hell" (published by AuthorHouse). Moving and eye-opening, readers witness the grim reality of oppression and racial divide permeating the society.

"This book is a real life story about the beauty of life when you have a wonderful income, which ultimately gave me a glamorous lifestyle," Churchill shares. He had lived a lavish setup - a condominium on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, weekends of partying with friends and a high-paycheck job. However, in a dramatic change of things, he ends up in an apartment in Jersey City, New Jersey, and became a taxi driver for a living. From there more challenges will test Churchill in his journey to getting back up again.

"I was inspired by the eyewitness account of my experience while driving a cab. 'Taxi Driver-the Ill Fated Lad' is about the disappointments of life; from a life of luxury to a life of a homeless person," the author says.

One of its kind and equally poignant, this memoir reminds readers of the oppression taxi drivers experience and the racial divide thriving in the community. Churchill imparts, "The readers should put themselves in the position of a taxi driver."
