New book, THROUGH THE FROZEN FALLS, Thaws Emotions of Abuse

The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry stated in 2011, child sexual abuse was reported up to 80,000 times, but the number of unreported instances was, and still is, far greater.

In her desire to give to the world, rather than take from it, Mary Lou, author of Through the Frozen Falls, shares her collection of poems related to memories of childhood sexual abuse. Voicing emotions of before, during and after, Mary Lou takes the reader on a painfully consoling journey of hurt, anger and understanding. Through the melancholy years of blame, Through the Frozen Falls depicts the thawing emotions of resentment and a transformation towards peace and calmness.
Through her original verses, the author offers coping sentiments to those facing the same frozen emotions and traumas.
