JAKARTA, Indonesia

Expounding on the concepts pioneered by Karl Marx, Adam Smith and John Keynes, author and economist John Bosco Nkumunue comes forth with a new concept of capitalism, one he believes will solve the current global economic crisis. He outlines his model in his forward-thinking new book, "New Theory and Practice of Capitalism: New Market Theory, Investment, and the Path to End the Global Economic Crisis" (published by Partridge Singapore).

According to Nkumunue, the current model of capitalism has created poverty and unemployment and widened the gap between the rich and the poor across the world. The goal of his new model is to fight poverty, redistribute wealth and promote better living conditions for millions of people.

In clear, practical language, Nkumunue explores a number of critical issues, including:

  • The key role that demand plays in the economy
  • The unforeseen effects of liquidity
  • Ways in which businesses can bolster markets through investment
  • How consumers can wield power in the marketplace

Nkumunue is passionate about his ideas and urges readers to embrace his progressive new model of capitalism. With a focus on stimulating investment and job growth, he believes it has the potential to end the global economic crisis.
