Mark is a divorcé and an advocate for noncustodial parents whom he believes are in serious trouble. A private investigator informs him that his activities are interfering with the business dealings of a real estate investor. Mark confronts him and soon realizes that his media interviews, to bring greater equality for noncustodial parents and “Children of Divorce,” have opened Pandora’s box. Progressively he uncovers what the real estate investor is hiding, Mark transforms into a whistle blower determined to expose the exploitation of innocent victims for financial gain. But will the victims ever be able to take back their lives?
Drawing from his own real-life investigation, Rodgers wrote the book to create awareness to a general public who Rodgers says are being scammed, “by a brilliant system in operation.” The author explains that many people are vulnerable to a system, designed to take their home and other assets. In writing an exciting suspense novel, the author hopes to compel readers to become more informed about how some solicitors, accountants and banks are organized to work in tandem in an international operation, for their own profit, at the expense of millions.
