Walter Fadness began logging vanity license plates after retirement, finally logging over 3000 plates. Sometime in 2015, he decided to publish a puzzle book that featured vanity license plate word searches. The result is his recently released book titled "Walt's Vanity License Plate" (published by Xlibris).

In "Walt's Vanity License Plate," Fadness puts a unique twist on the usual puzzle and crossword game. This activity book features 100 puzzles. Each puzzle has 20 vanity license plate clues listed below the puzzle. License plates can have no more than seven characters (letters and numbers) on the plate, but they can have less.

The book offers a glimpse into the interesting world of vanity plates. According to Fadness, vanity plates can be made up of letters and/or numbers that make a name or a phrase that the owner feels is funny. It could be a good point about the car, maybe bragging about the car, something about a family member or something to be proud of, and many things others will not understand.

"Walt's Vanity License Plate" offers interactive fun for anyone who enjoys puzzles and mentally stimulating games.
