New Powers, New World Open to Young Hero in 'The Super Cyborg'

Isak Dinesen once said, "To be a person is to have a story to tell." Fiction has the power to entertain, but it often also does double-duty as a tool of instruction. Many people have been inspired by the characters of a novel, and with the release of his new science fiction novel "The Super Cyborg: Omega Chronicles Book I" (published by AuthorHouse), author Mack W. Chris "Cy" Striker had just returned to America from Japan, where he had been studying martial arts, when he happens upon a young woman being kidnapped. He immediately goes to her rescue, but is badly injured in doing so. The woman he saves, Minawa Ivy, is a scientist, and her secret technology allows her to rebuild Cy's damaged body into the most powerful cyborg - a melding of man and machine - the world has ever seen.

Unfortunately for Cy, General Bishop, the military overseer of Minawa's research, covets the powers Cy has inherited, and pursues them around the world to try and capture him. When Minawa is injured, Chris will go to any length to save her - but in doing so, he discovers a terrible secret: Minawa isn't human at all - she's an alien from another world.

What follows this discovery is an action-packed adventure across the stars that will both entertain readers and offer them a worthwhile example of looking past skin color, race or even humanity to see the person within.
