"Joe and the Halloween Mystery" continues Joe's story-a dedicated follower of God with the skills of a Samurai- when he awakens on Halloween, 1000 years after dark events that altered history. He knows Satan is targeting him, but luckily for Joe, he has a divine sword that protects him from evil forces.
For the first time in his life, Joe is faced with unnerving creatures, such as zombies, vampires and witches. However, he also encounters various unexpected allies-such as military heroes and knights-during his journey. Accompanied by his lovable parrot named Herbie, Joe sets out on a spiritual journey, battles demons and exposes an ancient Halloween mystery.
"Halloween is absolutely my favorite holiday. There is so much imagination, culture and intrigue around each Halloween celebration," Padilla said. "I wrote 'Joe and the Halloween Mystery' to combine all the classic elements of this holiday and wrap them into an adventurous and thrilling tale."
