Author J.S.B. Morse wants to test the limits of your belief. In his new fiction entitled "Now and at the Hour of Our Death" (www.code-interactive.com/publishing), faith in religion and science are scrutinized equally and readers are left questioning their own belief systems.

"Belief is such a powerful tool," the author said, "and it's not just the realm of the spiritual. Everyone believes in things for which they have no evidential knowledge. I wanted to explore that belief system and hopefully open up dialogue across the board."

In the novel, a seventeen-year-old girldevout Catholic and ardent virginfinds herself pregnant. Struggling to come to grips with this discovery, she concludes that it must be a miracle. A surprise medical finding and a New Age spiritualist helps in her new found goal to convince the world of her gift and to convert a nation of skeptics into believers.

"And this isn't just superstitious nonsense," Morse added. "There is verifiable science that is beginning to give weight to phenomena that religions have been professing for centuries, including miracles."

"Now and at the Hour of Our Death" was officially released on September 8, and can be found in retailers across the country and online.

New Classic Books is an imprint of Code Publishing based in Austin, TX. Previously released books by Code include "Gods of Ruin: A Political Thriller" and "Chaos and Kingdom: A Financial Thriller."
