New Memoir Proves the Power of Spiritual Healing and Love Image Gabriel Richards marks his publishing debut with the release of "Giving Love a Voice: Book One: Lessons in Health" (published by Balboa Press). The memoir narrates one couple's story of how they overcame health issues through the power of spiritual healing and love.

"Giving Love a Voice" tells the sacrifices and successes of Richards and his wife as she faced a catastrophic illness that lead her to total paralysis and the loss of her other senses. Richards was then advised to put his wife in an institution and try to go on with his life. However, facing the greatest test of his faith and love, Richards did not give up.

In the book, he explains how an understanding of metaphysical laws helped them cope - how they learned the healing power of love and why love without action is dead. Richards identifies the lifestyles, attitudes and/or the general lack of understanding that may contribute to the onset of illness and offers solutions that have worked for them.

"If you are not healthy, nothing else in your life matters," Richards says. "To be healthy and happy are among the greatest gifts you can give to those you love."

"Giving Love a Voice" is a unique love story that also shares lessons on gratitude, forgiveness, as well as the value of becoming aware of everything that enters one's body, whether it be visible or not.

When asked what he aims for readers to take away from the book, Richards adds, "An understanding of how to avoid illness by giving your immune system what it needs to function as it should. [And] there is the value of setting an intention and holding on to a vision, as well as how to look at setback as an opportunity."
