Jack Watson's new memoir "Homer's Son: An Unusual Life" (published by iUniverse) is both a narrative and an instruction manual to overcoming life's obstacles and creating a multimillion dollar career.
Narrated with grit and good humor, "Homer's Son" is a true rags-to-riches life story. Readers will enjoy Watson's journey from an orphanage to his granny's four-room shack on an Oregon farm, up the corporate ladder, to a lucrative invention and successful company.
An excerpt from "Homer's Son":
"After the sale of NEWFLO, I basked briefly in the euphoria of the moment, reveled in the limelight of my fifteen minutes of fame, and received congratulations and kudos. However, there was something wrong - something was missing. I wished Homer could have been here to see my success and my worth as his son who he had abandoned. In reality, however, I had abandoned him."
"No matter what adversities you face," Watson reminds readers, "you will succeed if you never, ever give up."
