New Interactive Digital Book FLIGHT! is Released

Flight! A Multi-Touch Book aims to teach children from the ages of 9 and up about the history of human flight with interactive content, photos, videos, and engaging stories. Corey Davis, author of two highly-rated technical books for computer programmers, was inspired by his 9 year old daughter and the lack of in-depth science eduction in public schools to write the book.

Flight! is a multi-touch book available in the Apple iBooks store. Corey chose the iBooks format for this book specifically because of the ability to interweave videos, interactive photos, and other multimedia elements. These elements are used to enhance the learning experience by providing children an easier way to learn complex concepts.

Corey Davis is an application developer who has spent years writing computer programs for most of the major aerospace and defense contractors in the Southern California area. He has co-authored two technical books for computer developers and server administrators. His childhood was spent listening to the stories of his grandfather, a retired Army Air Corp officer and engineer for the Saturn V rocket program, Apollo program, and Space Shuttle program. He plans a series of books on space exploration for children. Flight! is the first in the series. Flight! will be available on April 12, 2014, the 53rd anniversary of the first human to orbit of the Earth. It is available for pre-sale now.
