Art enthusiasts from all walks of life will find a wealth of information in "The Art Lover's Pocket Guide: Where to View the World's Great Masterpieces" (published by iUniverse), the new nonfiction by Henry P. Traverso.

"The Art Lover's Pocket Guide" gives readers a crash course in art history, featuring over 250 different artists. Traverso includes a comprehensive list of where to find their works throughout the world - places ranging from museums and galleries to churches and libraries - and has arranged the information in alphabetical order by country, state and city.

Featuring diverse artists such as Joseph Albers, Picasso, Monet and a host of other visual artists, "The Art Lover's Pocket Guide" provides basic biographical information and historical context for each. An easy-to-search index helps readers find the information they're looking for quickly and efficiently.

"As a lifelong educator and art lover, I have spent more than five decades researching art history and traveling to the world's great museums," Traverso explains. "Art is eternal, making this valuable resource a permanent resource."
