About the Author:
Carol B. Amos is a writer, Dementia Specialist, and Alzheimer's Association volunteer. After experiencing the effects of Alzheimer's disease with her own mother, Carol learned everything she could about the disease by attending conferences and support groups. She then became a CARES Dementia Specialist and was certified through the Alzheimer's Association's essentiALZ Plus. Carol has a passion for sharing her knowledge and helping caregivers with Alzheimer's patients and now works as a volunteer and fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association. She also has a degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University and retired from a thirty-five-year career at The DuPont Company.
