About the Author
Denis Hodson, after many years, has returned to his first love as a storyteller. After his school years and Technical Training, he served for 5 years on naval ships as an Electrical Engineer in the British Royal Navy, during the 1939-1945 war. This was then followed by Teacher Training at Alsager in England.
After a period of teaching in a Secondary and a Primary School, also in the U.K., he was commissioned and served twenty years in the British Army. These duties were principally in military training in various parts of the world. Retirement came at an early age and South Africa was the attraction for himself, his wife and their four children. He has now retired for a second time as a Manufacturer in the Steel and Brass Industry and with the assistance of his eldest son the Artist; he is now able to tell stories to young people once again.
