Halloween is just around the corner, which means children everywhere will soon be dreaming of wandering out into the night in search of candy, candy, and more candy.

Before letting the little ones loose, though, it's important for kids of all ages to understand guidelines for safe trick-or-treating in order to maximize their fun. "Peter Pumpkin Goes Trick-or-Treating," the new book from author Peter Nanra, offers tips for making this Halloween the best night ever with the help of a clever story perfect for young readers.

In the book, Peter Pumpkin and his sister Petrina pick out their costumes and join their friends as they look to have as much fun as possible while avoiding the witches, ghosts, and ghouls seeking to steal their candy, or even worse - to turn them into pumpkin pies!

Amid all of the fun, Nanra weaves in several important lessons, such as the importance of friendship, respect for elders, and an anti-bullying message.

"Peter Pumpkin" is a creative, upbeat, and easily readable adventure for all children and a wonderful resource for preparing young trick-or-treaters for a fun, safe Halloween.

This book will be displayed at the 2015 Frankfurt Book Fair during October 14-18, 2015 at the Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt, Germany.
