New Children's Book PAINTBRUSH KITTY is Released

Author Ruth Rebecca Gough penetrates the fine line between childhood and adulthood fantasy by creating two adorable characters who bond in pursuing a captivating journey of adventure that imparts the essence of love and encouragement.

This endearing book introduces "Paintbrush Kitty", a vintage porcelain cat who is brought to life and assumes her identity through the love and adoration of a real-life kitty named Haley. Paintbrush Kitty becomes the sister Haley always wanted and rewards her love and devotion by providing the driving force of courage she needed to fulfill her dream.

About the Author

"When I was a young girl, my pets were my best friends. Everywhere I went they went with me. To this day, I have a tremendous love and deep respect for all animals large and small. My goal with this story is to convey the infinite value of love. It includes my recent companion, a gray tabby I call Haley, and her 'heroine' the Paintbrush Kitty. Although my illustrations put these simple characters in the spotlight of the foreground, I have enriched them with a textured Victorian backdrop that is meant to intrigue the reader as well as the listener.

Hopefully, my naturally heartfelt message will resonate in a positive way the subconscious emotional development of its listeners."
