Stress has seemingly become part of life in today's highly competitive and fast-paced world. The National Health Interview Survey reports that about 75% of the general population experiences at least some stress every two weeks. In her new book, "Encouraging Myself To Keep On Stepping: Speak to Yourself In Songs - Ephesians 5:19", author Willie May Gaskin leads the way to a journey of renewal for moving forward and growing strong in the midst of life's tests.

"Encouraging Myself To Keep On Stepping" is a collection of poetry that conveys insights and biblical truths about a medley of themes including life, relationships, God's grace and love. Gaskin has proudly dedicated her work to her mother, Mary Ellen Bell Turner, who inspired her to "keep on stepping" and whose life is a remarkable portrait of courage and perseverance. She says:

"Mary Ellen Bell Turner, the oldest of six children, was left with the awesome task of raising her two sisters, three brothers, and later her own seven children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandchildren. I am sure somewhere during those ninety-six years, there were many days she had to keep on stepping and stepping when giving up would have been so much easier."

Inspiring and unforgettable, "Encouraging Myself To Keep On Stepping" is a triumphant testament of the unwavering human spirit and a woman's love for the Almighty.
