In her new, unconventional, motivational guidebook, "The POWER of the TITZ...a woman's journey back to her self," author Xandra "Sunny" Moon exhorts midlife women to reclaim their true essence by reconnecting with the young girl they once were.

"Women have so many roles to play, so many societal expectations to meet, many of us begin to lose that self-confidence and unique sensuality we started developing as young girls," Moon says. "There are thousands of midlife women out there, beautiful mothers, wives and ex-wives who feel like they've lost their sexuality - I know because they tell me as I travel the country and get to know them."

Like many of the women she meets in her travels, Moon suffered physical and emotional abuse as a young woman. While raising four children and enduring a dysfunctional marriage for several years, she became deeply depressed, she says. But several steps took her out of despair, and by the time she climbed out, she was happy, confident and back in touch with Sunny, she says.

As a woman's self-help book that blends humorous and light-hearted stories, "The POWER of the TITZ ...a woman's journey back to her self," also deals with serious issues that affect women at about age 40 and older. She explores the importance of reuniting with their young girl within, who will help teach midlife women what it's like to live, love, laugh and play once again.

"For the 40-plus woman, my message often facilitates an empowering awakening," Moon says.

She offers a heady mélange of sensuality interfused with spirituality, emphasizing the importance of unifying mind, body and spirit, and encouraging acceptance of one's own sexuality, whatever form it might take. Unlike other messages available in the market of self-empowerment books for women, Moon's message will also benefit men, who can understand and appreciate the confident, sexy and empowered age 40-plus woman.

"We have but one life," says Lee Abzu, Moon's second husband, soul mate and coauthor to her books.

"If you're single and in your 40s, 50s, 60s or older, you can either wait around for the kids or grandkids to come by and visit, or you can get out there and regain the vitality and lust for life you used to have."

" 'The POWER of the TITZ...a woman's journey back to her self' is a down home book written in first person by a modern-day feminist who loves her Double-D Breasts!" writes Betty Dodson, PhD., author of "Sex for One: The Joy of Selfloving."

"Xandra makes her point: Our breasts are one body part that both men and women can see, so women should be proud of them and claim their sexual power!"
