New Book Talks About Family Relationships; Taking Courage and...  Image In Sandra O. Ferraro’s “Golden” (published by AuthorHouse), she takes the reader back to the 1940s where one family fights to save their little girl’s life during the World War II era.

Based on a true story, the novel is about family and family struggles, and introduces Ella who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. While seeking comfort at her parent's home, she is taken on a mind journey back in time to the World War II era when her family is fighting to save her younger sister's life. From this experience, she receives insight and comfort to help her in her own life and trials.

Poignant and significant, the story reflects upon the circle of life. Through the book, Ferraro hopes that readers, especially those who are going through personal struggles, will take lessons, inspiration and courage in other people’s lives. “Everyone has struggles, and everyone has family, and I think the story is very relatable and relevant,” she adds.

About the Author
Sandra O. Ferraro has always had a great interest in reading and literature. Her love of reading and academia led her to become a teacher specializing in reading instruction at the elementary, and then at the university level. Her love of reading also fostered a desire to write, and she has had poetry and a professional article published, but “Golden” is her first novel. She resides in sunny Southern Utah, along with her husband, children and grandchildren.
