A nostalgic glimpse into the memories of a boy growing up in war-torn Belgium, the new book "Revisited Memories" (published by iUniverse) was initially written by the late Philippe Evrard who passed away in 2012. His original editor, Joyce Peters, has now submitted Evrard's finished work for publishing.

Part true and part fiction, "Revisted Memories" takes readers through Evrard's journey of life, in both English and French. Evrard had a wonderful zest for life and a desire to bring good cheer to readers through his humorous, nostalgic and captivating tales.

"The charming characters on one page after another captivate one's interest and imagination," Peters says of Evrard's book. "Fantasy and fact meld together as a whole and stay in one's memory, long after the eyes have left the last word on the page."

Evrard leads readers down a fascinating path, not only into his own heart and mind, but also into the hearts and minds of others. He regales readers with tales from his small village in Belgium during World War II. This whimsical collection of treasured stories shares the memories, hopes and dreams from a Belgian man's journey through life.
