New Book Seeks to Open Readers' Hearts and Transform the Way They Love Image Healer and mystic Altair Shyam, writing under the pen name Guan Shi Yin, aims to help others awaken the extraordinary power of love in their lives and channel that love to make everyone’s dreams come true with his new book, “Diary of a Yogi: A Book of Awakening” (published by Balboa Press), which shares his story of revelations and transformation. The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1982212306.

Opening with an account of his mother’s experience as a teenager being told about her oldest son and his past lives and future, the book also includes Shyam’s story of a recurring dream he had as a child of being a Tibetan monk. The remainder of the book recounts Shyam’s journey to find love and search to uncover the answers to the questions: “why are we here” and “where do we find love?” Helped by remarkable sages and goddesses, Shyam reveals “secret signs embedded in all our lives” as he confronts the darkness within himself and elements of society that are sworn to keep people “bound in ignorance and illusion.”

“‘Diary of a Yogi’ will transform your life. It opens you to the direct experience of being transparent to the light of divine consciousness within you,” Yin says, adding that he wants readers to be open to “the possibility of a deep transformation, a return to love, to be the light.”

Yin plans to donate profits from the book “Diary of a Yogi” to the charity War Child, which works to empower children and young people in conflict areas by providing psychosocial support, stimulating education and protect them from the ravages of war.
