PARKVILLE, Md. - In his eye-opening and insightful new book, "Cocktail Conversations by the Controversial Counselor" (published by Xlibris), author David Glover addresses the aspects of engaging in open communication dealing with day-to-day situations that are in dire need to be discussed.
Delving deep into topics such as relationships, friendships, family, work, health, education, loyalty, mistrust, child drama and the dating game, this book will provide opportunities for a meaningful self-reflection on personal values and the perceived values of others. It explores and analyzes these topics through 77 scenarios; scenarios that will provide readers different outlooks and viewpoints to the same situation. It serves as a helpful tool that can be used when navigating through the different terrains of life. Like a guiding voice, it offers a plethora of advice for people who are struggling with ill-fated circumstances and predicaments. It teaches readers to identify how individuals relate their perceptions based on their experiences.
Author Glover says, "We are all in the need of advice once in a while, and through the diversity of the participants, we can learn something from each other to open our minds and hearts as human beings, to grow and love one another."
