The Holy Bible is one of the most important written works in human history, and its constituent books form the basis of the Christian faith - as well as having commonalities with that of Judaism and Islam. In his new book, Dr. Leland McClanahan explains the beginnings of the Bible, its first three books, with "An Outline of Genesis, Exodus and Leviticus."
After having provided outlines for other books of the Bible in his previous publications, McClanahan tackles the very first three in this work, which form the basis for all the subsequent occurrences in the sacred scripture. He covers events from the Biblical beginnings of the Earth and the universe, to Adam and Eve's flight from Eden, the Great Flood, the Hebrews' plight in Egypt and their mass escape in search of the Promised Land, and the creation of the laws of man. These mark the beginning, the first books, of the Scripture, which relates the cosmogyny, foundational details, and theocratic precepts of God's Chosen People.
This work breaks the block of the Bible's first three books down by subjects in outlines, so the person can understand them. Curious Christians, students of theology and others will certainly find "An Outline of Genesis, Exodus and Leviticus" an insightful reading experience. Dr. McClanahan, as in previous works, once again provides an impressively accessible, complete analysis of the schematic architecture of the Bible's foundation.
