New Book Exposes Truth Behind 'Big Oil' ImagePeter Cabana knows how the energy game is "played among the big boys." In his new book, "Energy Reality: What They Don't Want You to Know" (published by Archway Publishing), Cabana exposes how energy, politics and power are intertwined. Cabana discusses how the United States and Great Britain control free-world oil while Russia dictates how the world's restricted oil is distributed. The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Energy-Reality-What-They-DonT-ebook/dp/B07DPFLQ1N/.

In 1963, Cabana began work as a civil engineer working on the California State Water Project, and he went on to develop large energy projects throughout the world - capping his career working with Bechtel on the "Big Dig" in Boston. It was through his professional work that Cabana began to notice how banking, lawyers, governments and "Big Oil" "work together to manipulate and influence who rules, dominates and directs the flow of world oil."

The author also examines five postwar oil crises, including the taking of American hostages in Iran by the Khomeini regime in 1979. Cabana also details how Vladimir Putin is seeking to turn Russia into a powerful petro state.

Cabana argues that ultimately the power struggles between rival nations and a small set of big "players" wield an unchallenged influence over the world's oil. He adds, "These are the players who greased the gears of the corporate vultures that dominate the industry."
