WASHINGTON, Feb. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ Get A F*ck!ng Job! Co-Author Elise Hoffmann and Co-Photographer Anton Papich mused for years about the need for a book that would offer overly-indulged adult children a reality check. In 2017, they put their creative energy to paper and created Get A F*ck!ng Job!

They envisioned the 40-page glossy soft-cover book to be a gift, presented as a gentle nudge for the 20-something graduate who hasn't quite figured out how to launch.

The book will be available via 300 online national and international retailers (to include Amazon, Books-a-Million, and Barnes & Noble) for $13 (US) on May 1, 2018, just in time for graduation season.

Hoffmann and Papich met and became friends in 1997 in Washington, DC, where they both live. Hoffmann runs a wealth management firm and Papich is a fashion photographer. Hoffmann collaborated on the text with her husband, Co-Author, Chris Niemczewski, and Papich collaborated on the photography with his longtime business partner, Jeff Prehn.

Hoffmann and Niemczewski raised four now-successful and self-sufficient young adults and they credit their tell-it-like-it-is parenting style. Hoffmann says, "Being a helicopter parent today is just in the water, so even those of us who think we aren't doing itwell, we are. And one consequence is adult kids who are happy to arrange their own playdates but still want a meal plan and their laundry done."

Anton Papich, whose own son graces the cover of the book, thinks the only antidote to a life of unfailing support and constant praise is a healthy dose of tough love. He says, "To be fair, this book is not about kids that haven't been able to find an entry-level job; it's about those who'd rather not do anything unless it comes with a fancy title and stock options."

Jeff Sutherland collaborated with the team on the book's design. The book was edited by Kaitlin Puccio and published by Bent Frame Publishing.
