Author Neil S. Davies pens the inspiring story of his journey back to Christianity and the friends that helped him along the way in, "God Moves: The end of a journey and the start of a pilgrimage" (published by AuthorHouse).
"I reached a point where I lost faith and wanted nothing to do with religion of any sort," explains Davies. "I questioned the nature of existence and the origin of objective morality. I became obsessed in a way to understand cosmology, physics, philosophy, evolution and other religions, because I felt that if I understood those things, I would come to know the true identity of God."
"God Moves" is Davies' story of his return to Christianity after being an agnostic for many years. This transformation happened because of three people Davies met over a 12 year period. The first person was Zulu, who was Davies' friend and confidant as they completed military training together. When Zulu dies, Davies meets the second person, a 6-year old orphan that he has chosen to sponsor in his friend's memory. While backpacking through England and Scotland, Davies meets a young woman in Inverness, the third person, who deeply impacts his life.
Together, these three people change Davies' life for the better and help him come to terms with God and his place in the universe. He hopes that readers will be enlightened by their stories. He says, "Perhaps other people also have the questions I had and I hope that with reading my book some of those questions will be answered."
