UNRAVELING THE SPIDER'S NET by author Nancy Carlisle Schumacher is an inspirational story about a couple faced with a misunderstood medical condition-epilepsy. The author, who is guarded by her father's words of encouragement, attempts to share to readers the truth that people with disabilities can live normal lives and can survive.

In this book, readers will find the story of Emilia and George, a couple who face different and challenging problems, such as Medicaid, Social Security, and Health care. It shows how George suffers from a neurologic disorder and how they find that everything comes with a price. Will they be able to meet the price? How Emilia braved her husband's woes will inspire readers in this book.

This release highlights the author's belief that people with disabilities can survive as long as they believe in themselves. They, like other people, can lead happy lives. Schumacher portrays persons with epilepsy as ordinary people who live ordinary lives, in spite of their problems.
