"To understand what is happening in the troubled world, it is necessary to comprehend the nature and the characteristics of the world's religions and their followers without any political correctness. I am from the East, and I am a scientist. The scientists are mostly objective. They are unbiased and free from their personal feelings and prejudices. In writing this book, I have tried to be objective and represent how a man from the East views the religions and their followers. This book is dedicated to all the victims of religious violence," Chopra shares.
An excerpt from the book:
However, no matter what the answers may be, the religions are agni (fire). When observed intelligently, religions give us motivation, direction, light, warmth, happiness and joy. But if observed unintelligently, they can become WMD (weapons of mass destruction). Religions are the greatest blessing and curse that God has bestowed on man.
