Jimbo Harris' artistic talents were recognized from a young age, but his passion for music led him to become a touring musician with the Grateful Dead tribute, Dark Star Orchestra, as their Bob Weir role player.

At the expected arrival of his first daughter, Harris settled into more conventional corporate careers, spending his free time focusing on music and art. In 2016, Harris decided to concentrate on hobbies he enjoyed, which led to the creation of "Kimo and Kalini: A Hawaiian Mouse Trail."

Harris' new children's book was inspired by real-life events surrounding his daughters and their memories from family vacations spent in Hawaii. The title of the book also has a significant meaning as "Kimo" and "Kalini" are the Hawaiian translation of "Jimbo" and "Callan," which is his daughter's name.

Adults and children will be captivated by the storyline of "Kimo and Kalini: A Hawaiian Mouse Trail," as well as Harris' eclectic art work shown throughout the book.
